Thanks to the new Christmas Fair at Port Vell in Barcelona, the city will finally have a Christmas market by the sea. The chosen location is Barcelona’s old port, at the foot of the famous Rambla of Barcelona and the Moll de la Fusta (wooden pier).

Illuminated Christmas Tree and Floating Nativity Scene

Two of the most remarkable features that set the Port Vell Christmas Fair in Barcelona apart from other Christmas markets in the city are the large Christmas tree illuminated with over 30 metres of LED lights and the floating nativity scene installed in the harbour waters, made of illuminated aluminium wire.

Furthermore, to make the Christmas market even more spectacular and attract as many visitors as possible, the façade of the Port of Barcelona building will be fully illuminated at night, and musical performances will be held.
