Barcelona, a Gay Friendly city

Barcelona Gay Friendly city

Barcelona has always been considered an open and pioneering city in many aspects and this is surely the reason why, in everything related to the rights and liberties of the Gay and LGBT+ community, it is no exception. A good example of this are some of the events, both protests and festivals, such as the very lively Circuit Festival and Girlie Circuit Festival, which are held throughout the year.

Another example of Barcelona as a Gay Friendly city is the popularity, for many years now, of many businesses, among which are shops, bars, clubs, businesses and hotels, directed and/or targeted towards the Gay and LGBT community and that, despite being spread over several neighbourhoods in Barcelona, are mainly concentrated in the well-known area of Gayxample.
