The Girlie Circuit Festival is Barcelona’s lesbian festival and the female answer to the Circuit Festival, the city’s gay festival. Both are held in August, although the Girlie Circuit Festival, which we will cover in this section, does not last as long and usually shares its dates with part of the Circuit Festival.
These two festivals have been designed and promoted by Matiné Groupe, a large group specialising in gay leisure in Barcelona, making the city of Barcelona one of the preferred destinations for gay and lesbian tourism.
Information on the Girlie Circuit Festival Barcelona 2024
The festival is a week full of activities focused on leisure, parties and culture designed by and for the lesbian public, often left out or in the background and that, fortunately, finds a custom-made event in the Girlie Circuit Festival.
This means that girls not only from Barcelona and the rest of Spain, but from all over Europe and from various parts of the world take part. In its 2024 edition, the Girlie Circuit Festival is yet to be confirmed.
This year 2024 the Girlie Circuit Festival will not be held because it is integrated into the Circuit Festival, which will be celebrated from 10 to 18 August 2024

2024 Girlie Circuit Festival activities and spaces
Some of the activities and parties are designed specifically for lesbians of the Girlie Circuit Festival, while many other activities are shared with the gay audience of the Circuit Festival, as is the case of one of the main events, the Water Park Day, which is held in the Illa Fantasia water park, in the town of Vilassar de d’Alt.
To get to this event and to some of the Girlie Circuit Festival parties, the organisation offers the option to use a specific bus line, called Girlie Circuit Bus, to get around in a convenient and direct way.
