Of all the public transport tickets in Barcelona, the most used to travel around Barcelona is the T10 (or T-10). This ticket allows you to make 10 trips at a much lower price than if you buy 10 single tickets and, unlike a single ticket, you can make a transfer using other means of public transport in the city. However, the T-10 is not always the most suitable transport ticket for you. That is why, below we give you more information in greater detail about the most common public transport tickets when travelling around Barcelona.
Most used public transport tickets and travel pass in Barcelona
When buying a public transport ticket you will realise that there are up to 6 different transport zones for each of them and, depending on the area for which you buy the ticket or transport card, the price varies considerably. In short, zone 1 corresponds to the whole city of Barcelona and the municipalities closest to it, featuring cities such as Badalona, L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, Montgat, Sant Feliu de Llobregat, Castelldefels and Montcada i Reixac, among others. In terms of the other zones, zone 2 is the next zone closest to Barcelona and as the distance of the towns from the city of Barcelona increases, the zone number to which this city belongs increases.
