The Hotel Terraces Week in Barcelona, also known simply as Terraces Week or by its Catalan name “Setmana de les Terrasses”, is one of the events that marks the beginning of the summer season in the city. Promoted and organised by the Barcelona Hotel Guild, this initiative aims to bring hotels closer to Barcelona’s residents, especially through their iconic rooftop terraces.
To do so, during this “theoretical” week—which actually lasts up to 10 days in order to include two full weekends—numerous Barcelona hotels host a series of free cultural, leisure and/or gastronomic activities on their respective rooftop terraces.

Hotel Rooftop Terraces Week in Barcelona 2026
In 2026, the Terraces Week in Barcelona hotels reaches its 15th edition, and it does so stronger than ever. A total of 58 hotels in the city are taking part, offering a very wide range of activities and proposals.
Despite this, public participation is usually very high and places are limited, so booking in advance is required for many activities. All information can be found in the full PDF programme available via the link below.
